Most of these designs use a lot of glassfibre to muffle and deepen the sound.
These would work very well for the first thousand miles, until the blasts of heat that the rotary makes would powder and melt all the fibres, then they would sound like ***.

Those didn't even withstand the heat from a friend's Z28 back in my high school years. A few runs down the dragstrip over a summer and it was shot.

Thanks for the message and for your interest in Cherry Bomb. I have had a couple customers use the Extreme on their RX8. I have not heard them myself, but they tell me it is a little deeper sound than what most mufflers give them. No, the Extreme does not have any fiberglass in it.

I have two regular glass packs on my exhaust system... Im pretty sure they were done within a month or so of my driving habits... but it gave me quite the unique exhaust note...
