This looks really good and if i get one i want to mount it the same but does it work properly mounted at a slant? surely if you accelerate hard the oil in the tank will slosh towards the breather?

I was thinking about the oil running down to the filter when I put it in but I haven't had any problems with it yet but I don't let it fill above 1/2 full. I also like how you can't see the filter with the cover on. Thanks guys

No.................go back and look at the date of which I installed mine above. It's been in there for that long, never drained......and maybe has less than 1/4 of a small tea spoon of oil in it, if that. I think it's just oil falling out of the vapors and nuttin else(for me).
If you don't overfill your oil, then you will probably never, ever have to drain it. I still like it for the oily vapors not getting back into the intake, and for the added protection in case I do "F" up and overfill.......which I would never do.

One recommendation has been to just cap it at the intake. Remove the hose. and stick the little breather filter right on the oil filler neck.
I don't like that idea, just because if you do get some blow back and that filter gets oil.......it's going to drip in the engine bay. And.....I guess in an extreme case, the filter get wet with H2O and possibly drip into the filler neck????

New here, but I wanted to show off my catch can - Saikou Michi Stage 1 OCC. Install is a little crude, to be honest, and it was tight getting in since the can is a little tall - though I'd appreciate any suggestions for a cleaner install. I got it in a hurry after pouring an ounce or 2 of oil out of my intake...its just a necessity for an 04.

Guess I'll share pics of my catch can that I installed last week.

I custom-made the bracket to mount to the back of my Racing Beat intake.
After I painted the bracket red, decided the catch can was out of place (it was chrome) so that got painted too.
Think I'll do the same to the blue parts of my intake this winter.

Where did you guys buy the hose for your catch cans? Trying to add one to my other car but I can't find a proper hose that will fit on the 3/8in ID barb.
