Excellent cheap mod(realitively speacking) for FI people,,, helps with keeping small levels of oil blowing through the intake vac line

FI or NA - it is a good mod as your oil vapors from the motor have to go somewhere... they can go to a can; or into your intake.... you pick.

For FI - it is more of an issue as the oil vent nipple see's positive pressure relative to the negative pressure of the intake manifold.

Mine's not Carbon Fiber like the others, mine's just blue...........as I have this blue thing going on with my car.
I could only come up with three places to mount it. Where I did, where TGLRK(TheGreatLouisianaRoadKill) and RK did, or maybe in front of the alternator and attach to the back of the intake box.
I choose not to mount it where they did as I thought it might make it even harder to get to the damn dipstick!

yep sure is :D its a really nice can. i like it since its smaller than a lot of the other cans out there, so it made finding a sport, sorta, easy lol. instaling it is a breez. the hardest part was finding a spot. thanks to RK for the pics.

That's a DIY "mazsport" cans. Bought the cans for $60 each, i'm working on the windshield washer one on the left. The center one is for 2-stroke oil. The car is 1/2 apart, I was installing a new turbo kit, will take new pics when done.

Murray's Speed & Custom Shop.

These are chrome, and lucky me they came with burgundy caps.

I believe the Weapon R goes where Mazurfer has it and I've highlighted where I think the second flange goes

I have no clue if it has different caps. I needed burgundy so I got 3 of them, they could be easily painted though...
They sell the canisters individually. I bought 3 of them. $180 + tax.

Rotr8, thanks for the response. I like that location as it still allows the battery to be relocated to the windsheid washer tank. looks like you have moddied your 8 nicely. There seems to be alot of rx-8s in the Baltimore, I am in No Va. How about Columbia for central location for a meet?

Oh....you really don't know me very well.

Anyway, see the bracket circled in green. The Fluid Motorsports comes with that bracket that has a twist in it for mounting, and in this picture you can see it's mounted to the bolt on the airpump. The twist is right underneath where the wire bundle crosses it as well as where the large blue grounding wire runs. I slipped the bracket underneath the wires for a cleaner look.
