I pulled mine after the M flash. It didn't seem to like the new fueling scheme. I even tried zeroing out the maps and still had studdering all over the place.

I had tuned mine nicely last summer 05. Then I got a CEL and reflash to fix it last winter 06, so I zeroed out my maps until I could get back to a dyno to retune. After this latest reflash, I got back on the dyno for tuning just last week. My 04 MT RX8 passed the recal tests and I felt pretty good about how it was running. Once on the dyno, I was mortified. The dyno now looks like my aux port isnt opening. I'm reall stumped right now because I don't have a CEL because the ECU is checking the SSV and AVP every time it shuts down. I can hear them clear as a bell, so I begining to think the latest recal flash is killing power above 6250.
We were able to lean it up a little and regain a few hp but it's no where near what I had last year.
So, short answer, yes. I'm still using it.

Still have mine though it's been turned off for the last couple monthes. I haven't turned it back on since the lastest flash. Prior to the 'S' Flassh I was getting a slight hesitation around 7500rpm to redline. I figured that it just needed to be retuned but just haven't got around to it.
BTW, it's for sale. I love it but I just don't have time to tune it.

You may be able to get rid of that hesitation by backing the ignition advance down a point or two. Worked for me last year. You want to look for around 30 degrees total advance (as messured by a scanner if you have one).
