I have a 3" custom exhaust, with a resonated midpipe. Havent installed it yet, and have been wanting to buy a supercat so I can put the exhaust on without the midpipe CEL. Is there anyway I can cut the midpipe off...and have them weld the 3" pipe to a 2.5" pipe? Can they somehow taper from the 3 to 2.5 at all? Just wondering if I can use my stock cat, and just have the 3" tapered down. Thanks guys.

Isnt that a supercat? Im just trying check out my options. Not really too keen on picking up the RP Cat unless theres no other feasable option.
