Calling all Springs, Flywheels, Sway Bars, Intakes, Pulleys, and more!
well I started a few threads that have a lot of info for comparison of products. (like one pulley compared to another)
I just thought that they might Sticky this thread since it has the links to those post (and future post to come). (we also figured that they would not stiky all of the other post when they can just sticky this one.) This post is like the "calling all colors" but instead it's "Calling all Performance Mods" <------ Thanks Cesar. So I gave up. here is the link https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-major-horsepower-upgrades-93/turbochargers-superchargers-compilation-63023/ read post 2 Cats https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...25#post3847125 Post to come: Coilovers shifters anything else??? |
how bout some of the other performance type mods...like turbos, superchargers, grounding kits, spark plugs, ECU's, spark plug wires, ignition systems
some sort of a boosted thread would be pretty cool, not real sure about the rest as there really is not enough of a differance in all of them to warrent a thread dedicated to them. (do you think?)
a thread dedicated to grounding kits I would think would be pretty small and boring? am I wrong? same with spark plugs. to the best of my knowlage, there really is only one plug at this time for the 8. (several for the 7, but the 8 does not have much to choose from) how many ECU's are there? I really am not much into that, I am more then willing if there is going to be enough info. maybe you can lead that post like Ullose did for me on the Sway bars one. kinda the same boat in spark plug wires. are there even enough to warrent a thread for them. if so, SURE! :) |
Coilovers as well!
oh yes!!!! thank you... I will make a thread for that to!
added to my list. :) |

yeah, not a bad idea.... we will see how much more thread making I feel like doing after I do all the other ones on my list.
you are welcome to make some of those ones you are talking about that I didnt put on my list, and I can just add the thread link to this one. ...... ?????? |
You are a very odd, yet helpful man.
he he he, I will take that as a good thing. :)
Thanks for doing this thread.
Makes it easier to find the others. *****STICKY***** |

I added a link to struts, and shocks.... it's not much, but it is a start. will work on it more when I can. :)
I need a clutch thread...
Kwescott has about the same miles and drives a lot nicer than I do. After changing his flywheel and looking at his clutch, he said I'll probably need a new one. - Cesar - |
clutches have been added to the to do list.
Clutch has been added.
How about a thread listing all the Hi-Flow cats. SR, RP, rx7store.net. It would be nice to know what the cat is made of and who manufactures the cat.
Exhaust has been added!! :)
Agent, I think all cats are made about the same arent they??? ..... will look into that thread. ;) |
Sicky!
send a pm to one of the forum moderators in the performance section to ask them for "sicky" status. I'm sure they will, given the amount of work that has gone into putting these pages together.
Thanks for the Sticky Zoom!
do you guys have a recomendation of a good flywheel, clutch, pulley setup? im thinking of purchasing all three...... just wondering if you guys had thoughts on this?
take a look at the links above for your self and pick the one that fits you best.
but of course my recomendation is the ACT prolite flywheel, the ACT stage 1 clutch, and the UR pulleys. :D |
