This is correct, thanks for clarifying that Chris!

Ahh that makes more sense. The mobile version of this site sucks when reading.

Really. Though Fedex bashed mine in. I'll probably just plug it anyway as it will be inaccessible when installed and the shroud is properly sealed.

A lot of drama for a minor inconvenience. I don't drain the radiator every track day like I change the brake pads and bleed the brakes. I did ask the question:

We really wanted a specific end tank size and overall core dimension from a performance perspective so that combined with factory style lower mounting pins eliminates the space for both. Draining is actually pretty straight forward and if you opt for a sealed up frontal opening making a simple remote drain hose with a petcock is a pretty common thing to do.

I am planning to get the rx8performance radiator end of March... are they still having manufacturing logistical problems?

No problems, we may sell out but at the moment there are 3 in stock.

Looks like another promising value option. The mounting tabs on top are at the correct angle, should fit without modification. Costs almost half a CSF or Mishimoto and looks similiar.

Heh, from the photos that looks similar to the eBay Speed Daddy radiator that Fazda found that we both installed a couple years ago...

Did you have to modify the mounting brackets because on the speed daddy they are not angled correctly? Just wondering how that install went for you.

Yeah, I used channel locks to bend the two tabs a bit. Other than that it went in just fine.

I am still on the fence whether or not it is doing its job. I was having issues with high temps at the peak of summer last year, but then I found and fixed a kink in my lower rad hose when doing some work on the car this winter. I will see if my temps come back in line...

OK, in the market for a CSF and i want to make sure I order it from a forum Vendor ... wasn't sure how to search this, so I'm asking. (I did check the vendor sales section)...

I would LOVE to have a dual pass, but doesn't look like any are in my price range. The CSF in my modified STI, did very well in Vegas.

As it sits, 115k on the radiator, I only drive the car when it's under 90* (vegas). Even in the mid 80's and I see 203 cruising temps.

Psst, it's spring time, seems like a good time for a group buy for cooling products.

So besides the rx8performance rad which, if any, dual pass rads are still in production for the 8? Or is the CSF the only real aftermarket option these days?

EDIT: Also, has anyone had experience with the Megan Racing radiator? The low price doesn't make me feel too confident, but Megan Racing is a name I know makes a few good products.

Megan makes cheap crap. Do you track your car? If not then there is really is no need for a dual pass

So, after more than five years and 5 pages of thread, would someone care enough to give me a straight preference (with a little bit of argumentative reasoning) between a Remedy Ron Davis Racing radiator (MazMart $650+tax) and a CSF Racing radiator (RallySportDirect $339+tax). For some reason, mainly just the reading of this post, they are my top two choices right now. Thank you.

Okay guys, I am just a clueless fool. Can someone please inform me, the CSF has no Oil Cooler. Does this means that it is not for an Automatic Transmission. Also if it is not, can someone point me to a great Automatic transmission radiator. I do not go to tracks, I just daily drive my car, but I like to have some fun while driving . I live in Louisiana and it can get pretty hot. Any brand recommendations? Im trying to stay under $350.
