CAI Loss of power??

CAI Loss of power??

Recently installed an AEM CAI... I left the 2 screens befor the MAF and i left the water cover on the filter.. I did have sum misfires befor i put it in but not anymore... I think i lost power, like the engine rec=vs up slower as im going through gears, anybody have this happen to them??

Did you remember to cap off one of the hoses?

a properly installed AEM will not lead to loss of power.

yep the vfad hose is closed off and i checked all the vac lines for cracks

How long since the install and did you do the reset?

yep i did the reset.. 4 days.. i dunno maybe its all in my mind

did you clean the MAF?

did you install the screens properly, if not they can slide out of place and wedge sideways

and you said you closed off the vfad hose..... you should remove the hose and put a cap on the nipple
