BOV Vacuum hose location

Hey guys, I have searched all over and cant find out where the vacuum hose goes from the intake manifold to the BOV. When I bought the car, it looks like the guy removed the hose but not the BOV. My buddy just tapped into one of the vacuum hoses he found and I dont believe it is the right hose. I am having trouble above 4k rpm and can hear air leaking from what I believe is the BOV. I know it isn't an issue from the BOV itself because it is brand new. Can anyone show me a picture of where their vacuum hose is tapped into from the intake manifold.

The classic location is the nipple underneath the throttle body.

Another good place is one of the two nipples on the passenger side of the intake manifold, low down.

vfad nipple is the best spot.

You do not want to take either of the passenger side of the engine nipples for anything because they are not solid sources of vacuum. They flutter.

I knew you would know the answer! Mine was taken from the top vacuum hose....
Here is a fairly recent pic and where my vac hose is located.

I know this is wrong and I need some guidance! I will look up that vfad nipple. Thanks. IF ANYONE HAS A PICTURE I WOULD APPRECIATE IT !

it's on the driver side of the throttle body. It's on the underside of it though. Right behind the charge tube.

No, that's a fuel line.
Look in the shop manual.

Get rid of the Fram oil filter.

I don't think that is the right line to tap at all -_-, I think that's an emission line or something

look under neath, the throttle body, there is a small line.......and a nipple that comes out, connect it to that line

I know I'm about to look like an idiot if I dont already but I searched and searched and found what looks like the vfad nipple.... BUT ITS NOT ON MY CAR..... Any help at all would be appreciated.

Here is a diagram I found that clearly shows where the vfad nipple is:

Here is a reference picture I found in a thread here:

and here is mine with NOTHING There....

I did find this though right by the dipstick and it looks like a nipple but there is no vacuum at all from it.

If anyone can help I sure do need it haha. Thanks in advance

Its there.
It might be snapped off (causing a pretty interesting vacuum leak).
Best bet is to take off your upper intake manifold and see what happened.

I guess I will take it off tomorrow morning but I felt underneath and its smooth plastic, no abrasions or holes of any sort.
