Borla mileage and cruisin' sound question?

Anyone that has the Borla exhaust noticed any difference in gas mileage? Also, how is the sound when cruisin 70 on the highway? Will it get annoying driving back and forth to work each day? Thanks for any info.

I've had my Borla for several months now and love it. I have not noticed any change in gas mileage at all. As for the sound, it's pretty quiet when just cruising along. It's only loud when you get on it, and even then it's not annoying.

I second what he said. I got a big increase in gas mileage when I installed my Borla...but it was the same day I got the "M"flash so I'm sure it was that. The Borla is sweet. Only loud when you want it to be.....

Just had my Borla installed. It's quiet at cruising speeds and not too loud when accelerating, just a bit louder than stock. The main difference is the sound is deeper than stock.

I haven't noticed a change in mpg yet.

My mileage dropped when I first got it because I was always deep in the throttle to hear that sweet music. Cruising at 70 should be no problem noise wise. I cruise at around 110 on the Autobahn and it does drone a bit, but I really don't mind :D

If anyone has the tech knowhow and the time i'd like to see someone post an mp3 or video with sound of an RX8 with the Borla exhaust. I remember Borla used to have the sounds of their exhaust on their website.

Talking Thanks

Thanks for the replies guys. Hey more Ohio RX-8 guys. I've still never seen one on the roads in my area. Only people looking at mine.

Bryan, Ohio is in the extreme northwest corner of the state. I know the feeling of being the only one with an RX-8 in a large radius. It seems that's all I talk about to people anymore is this car.
