I just clear 3m bra'ed the entire hood. I had 24" of the hood already covered, but a rock hit it up higher and it is a sign of things to come... not much to do besides drive it.

Borla is simply the better exhaust. I have an Rx8 with borla and an agency power midpipe and it sounds amazing. Better than my friends Hks legamax exhaust w Ap midpipe. In my opinion borla gives out more power

I have the Legamax and it sounds amazing paired with a custom 3.5 id inch CAI with a K&N cone. Its really quiet in the lower rpms. After 4k it has a nice subtle grumble and sounds like a Lemans car around 8-9k. Wish I had a camera to take vids lol.. Im looking to get an Agency Power DR midpipe soon.

Im sure since the exhaust is really deep and subtle, even catless it'll still sound amazing. I'd say stick with the Hks if your going catless. If your keeping the cat go with pretty much any 3'' catback they sound loud but good. Turboxs sounds good and agency power is really loud but clean, same with the Greddy sp2. Ive heard all of those.

 

I have a borla with a Racing beat duel res midpipe. I like the sound of it..... I picked it over the racing beat exhaust and the B&B. Its not going to be raspy or over powering. To me that is more important since i don't want to be a showboat. When you do go up in the rpms it does get loud with a good sound ( little to no rasp). If you have a mid pipe i hope it is the racing beat since the AP sounds like $#IT !!! Even at highway speeds the borla is quieter then most.
Borla is made nicely and It works for me I never thought about getting another brand after i made my decision. As for power i do not know how it compares since i would need them side by side to get the true feel. The cat delete really did affect it though.
