Borla Exhaust b&b mid pipe...Problem wich sensor

hey guys i set up the b and b mid and the borla cat but noe my check engine light is on do to a leak in the exhaust u checked the gasket it seems fine i used the old one from the original exhast...i have no idea wut to do from now i just dont want to be runiing rich or lean w.e it is thank for the helo guys

you have a cel because you have no cat.. simple as that..

I have the B&B and I can confirm that it throws a CEL.

well i kinda new installing the mid pipe that i had no cat its not resonated...but wut woud i have to do in order to fix the check engine light would i have to buy a management and dyno it or wut?

put a cat in it. some have had luck with extending the o2sensor. there is a relatively current thread on it.. i would look for it..

The first step would be to call up Doc Brown and borrow his time machine, go back a few weeks, and tell your previous self to do some research before modding your car.

Sorry, I'm fully aware that wasn't helpful whatsoever....but it had to be said.

so youre telling me there is nutting i can do to make the cel go off and make my car run alot smother wit hthe non resonated mid pipe ...and tha i would have to take iit off? and wut do u htink would happend if i didnt

Nope, nothing you can do. That is why people get the hi-flow cat unit, instead of the test pipe unit. You can nothing to get rid of the CEL, & the smell (not to mention the ridiculously loud sound).
