I hate when I see people in public and they know nothing about rx8's and renesis engines. All I hear is....THE RX-7 ....blah blah blah. with adequate fuel and strong seals, and good tuning, 400+ hp seems like a no brainer to me at least. And I dont give a damn about my transmission. If it breaks I will rebuild with better components. I wish some of these turbo nerds around here will tell me how much max boost they've ever pushed with the 3071r. I'm going to try 18-20psi on the dyno just to see what numbers it will make.

 

I'm happy with my a/t.. I just can't wait to port..

The 6-speed auto has the same motor as the M/T.
But the turbo is not really correct for either as a street car.

Not true. It has been done. It has also been (correctly) setup for draw-through.

No answer for that because it is not a valid question. Pr and flow are not equal.

but I know youve experimented. May I ask what the max hp you got out of a 3071r with the greddy setup?
