Blitz R-VIT I-Color... anyone using it??

http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/me...=BLITZ_MONITOR

Saw it and it looks kind of interesting. Basically combines a CAN capable OBD scanner/display with additional ability to monitor external pressure, temp, and A/F sensors... and even ability to adjust parameters in some Toyotas apparently

just wondering if anyone out there has one... i don't think i've seen any p0sts on it

(kinda pricey though )

Nevermind, it has nothing to do with neo. Its the Greddy Intelligent Informeter.

the Greddy Informeter is not CAN capatable unfortunetly and does not have the extra analog inputs... so with the Blitz guage you should be able to have oil press and oil temp sensors added and then also display the water temp and everything else on the CAN bus as well as do datalogging.

I think this is pretty ideal if it works as advertised

I have the original one and it does not work with ANY Mazda cars (even the old models)

No idea why, they dont have their codes or something ?

Not sure about the new version tho.

After hours upon hours of exhautive research I think I just found the answer to my question...

http://chibisen.cocolog-nifty.com/blog/

you have to translate the page but if scrll down to middle will list multi meters that have been tested with the rx8 I presume & shows & tells which ones work & don't work...
According to site the Blitz R-vit i-color is noy compatibile

blimey... good job with the research, bad news about the results tho..(it seems)

This just in from Blitz UK:

As this is a
relatively new product, we have just been given a vehicle compatibility
chart which does not list Mazda at all. Sorry.
