BHR Midpipe
Finally catless!!
Sounds so much better at idle now. WOT through 3rd sounds a tad raspier than i thought it would, but I think that will die once the midpipe's been on for a bit. FLAWLESS fitment. Fit is PERFECT.
Thanks again BHR!

Thank you Ross Dawg! What are you running for a catback?
What any member of the BHR crew tells you about any product, it's true. If they say it's fitment is perfect, it's perfect. If they say the tone is perfect, the tone is perfect. If they say it smells like jellyfish, you can bet your *** it smells like sea invertebrates... The best pipe on the market is simply, the best pipe on the market... period. And it happens to be built by BHR.

WOW!
Thanks Poopsmith.
I'm feeling a little humble right now.
NOT!
BHR KICKS ***!

OK I'll go take my med's now
I can unabashedly tell you that when all things are considered (build quality, fitment, sound, durability, etc.) that the BHR Midpipe is the best one available. I don't say that just because we offer it. We offer it only because I can say it. Two different things.
To make a long-*** story short; the pipes will go into full-scale production in a few weeks. Once we do all, 31+ pre-orders can be filled rather quickly.

Thanks, I figured if I needed to go this route it would be cheaper and I like how the bHR pipe had a resonator. Since the police over here in Germany hate any kind of noise

It would be cool to see that catalyzer offered ad an option but the exchange rate sucks in the u.s right now and buying from here would be a suicide.
You rock Charles!
That would be the best option for a long lasting catalyzer imho. Either that or a super expensive Japanese one like re amemiya's etc. That's the only one that i've not been able to destroy up to today but comes already welded on a midpipe and i think that your resonator is way better than theirs.

There should be enough room to fit an HJS catalyzer. I wish that TeamRX8 could chime in telling us the serial number. I lost it

I was looking at the HJS cat also, but some of my friends over here with Skylines and Evos all run a US made 100 cel cat and they have passed thru the TUV with them. The cost of the cats they use is about 3 times less and i know of 2 cars thats had them for almost 2 years with no problems. I almost ordered the Sard Catalyst pipe but wanted to see if this pipe could be modified for a cat.
Charles I hope you don't think I'm being rude since I'm going to hack up your pipe probably its a beautiful piece.
The problem is the selection of cats that can be used on the RX8 are limited due to the excessive exhaust gas temperatures the car runs. When you're looking at 1800 degrees or more for temperatures it just torches the cat. Stock you can get away with it because of the overly rich fuel mixture. If you tune that out then it's only a matter of time before you burn it up.
I am sure that if that catalyzers are good we will see them welded on those beauties from the factory!
Stuttgart i'll come to see how that midpipe performs soon... planning another trip to visit good tracks

What tracks are you visiting?
I am thinking to re-do what i did this summer. Nurburgring and then Spa-Francorchamps or Hockenheim. Dunno if i will have the car ready before next year though but i would love to see the midpipe anyway!
