peanuts! i had to try very carefully not to make a huge mess with these.. i also hope there's no surprises in there cause i didn't go digging..
here she is all wrapped up nicely
notice how i ordered mine with a half/half design. half is polished and half is satin.
here's my nasty old cat
notice that i broke the bolts cause i'm so strong
i've had it on for a few days now and i'm a happy camper. thanks again guys!!

Since the thread is a little stale... and the cat back is already under way... what about a BHR increased capacity oil pan with built in heat sync?

Besides, does anyone really want to pay to have to put a whole 12 qt. case of oil in their car every oil change? I'd rather you all spent your money on something worthwhile.

To be honest, I've not seen any data that would lead me to conclude that a larger capacity oil pan (larger than the Greddy) is necessary on the RX8. I've ran an oil temperature sensor for about 2 years on my RX8 and I only have oil cooling issues in traffic or on low speed, high RPM events. I can count on one hand how many times I've experienced excessive oil temperatures in my RX8.

What about the possibility of a BHR grounding system or kit? I think that would be worth while and may help with several issues I have been having.

It's just something i thought of after this last autocross. I was thinking simply as an alternative to the greddy. Trying to score you guys some cash...

Autocross could become a situation that would lead to oil temperature problems but autocross runs are too short to cause a serious buildup of temperatures. Oil properties make it absorb and shed heat slowly so it would take 10 or 15 minutes of sustained autocross activity before you might see an issue with your temperatures.
There is a local driving spot here in Phoenix where I will "test" some of the physical limits of the car including the cooling system. It's a mountain area but low altitude so it's still very warm. Very tight turns and about a sustained 15 minutes of climbing. With high RPMs after about 15 minutes I either have to let up on the throttle or pull over to let the car cool down. That was with 85 to 90 degree ambient temperatures and oil temps around 240 degrees.
The short version of all that is if BHR does come out with a product to handle oil temperature you can bet it will have the same quality of design and attention to detail that you see with our midpipe and ignition kit.
