Who make the beat lightweight flywheel? How much does it cost? installation cost? will it void my warranty? Thanks

 

1) Subjective. Some are too light, mess up drivability. Chromolly is durable. Aluminum is lighter.

2) You get what you pay for.

3) Drop the tranny, usually $300-$500 or DIY.

4) Yes.

 

Yep, have to buy Mazda speed or void warrenty.

If warranty is no problem then go for the chromolly.

You should check with your dealership to make sure :

1) They are an authorized Mazda Speed dealership, and will do install.

2) Ask them if you buy the flywheel somewhere else will they install it. You can probably
save $100 if you go through other places to get your flywheel, but many dealerships
won't do the install unless you buy it from them.
