Best intake bang for the buck?

Best intake bang for the buck?
I've seen the post about removing the baffles in the factory airbox...done that. The only thing I haven't done is get a K&N drop in filter. But that got me thinking, for an extra $100 (give or take) why not buy an aftermarket system?
I was looking at Weapon-R's Secret Ram air setup and it seems pretty cool and I think it's the cheapest i've seen so far.
What are your opinions?
Thanks,
Brian

I thought that wasnt a good idea...
i was looking at the Rev8 intake duct...what if you designed something in between that and the AEM CAI? I know this sounds hillbilly but what if you could make the pipe draw air from the front of the car with PVC pipe? It's cheap as **** and would be easy build like the AEM. $10 in PVC pipe and it's ready to go. If not then it could be a "template" to have some metal piping bent up. You could leave the K&N drop in and the factory air box, but it would draw cold air just like the AEM.

If you've searched around for custom intakes, you would see many failed attempts using PVC and even a dryer hose.
And some of us can't forget about the dual-filtered PVC intake
Its amazing how people think you can throw on any size pipe and expect it to work with the MAF setup... even with no screens to smooth the airflow across it.
