Advice on MONSTER PARTS INSTALL!

Hey whats up RX-8club.. so here is what I am facing. I have been In SKorea for about 2 years now and have ordered a lot of parts for my stock rx8 I have waiting in my garage at home. Heat wrap your exhaust manifold? The greddy oil pan will get you some free cooling with its bigger oil capacity too.

Install wise, I guess take your time and don't get over excited! Hard to do with all those goodies lying about!

you do not need a camber kit.
if you're doing W/M, you might as well get the BHR spacer at it provides a convenient way to run that system.

the turbo that comes with the GReddy kit has caused engine detonation. Get the mazdamaniac upgraded turbo if you want to keep your 8 problem free.

WHAT?!
no, it has not.

Many of the early greddy users had engine failures but this was almost always traced back to installation error or terrible tuning via the E-Manage. Some of those maps were not very good and engines paid the price.

These days with the 'greddy fixes', the AccessPORT, and with knowledgable tuners the Greddy kit is a much more viable option. There are of course, other turbos available but the greddy is a good starting point.

I think the genral consensus is that all the stock emange blue parts were crap, the emanage ultimate fixed a lot.. and the AP or ProTuner are still the best options.

Thanks for the heat wrap hint, ill buy me a couple rolls. This convo kinda went off subject as usuals lol. And the getting all excited is what I am afraid of, to many goodies! I have other things ready too, just nothing important that if I install them the engine would blow.

Everyone who has pointed out my statements are correct. I didn't make it clear that it was the emanage/tuning/installation problems.
