hmm. there is a MS CAI that is very similar to the AEM. The AEM is loud compared to the Revi. it's preference.

The air that comes out of my butt! quite cold indeed, but it has a weird smell to it don't know about the gains though!

JK... I would say that the Revi w/duct and the AEM/MS CAI would be the best bet!! because the rest of the intakes are placed under the hood which allows for a possibility of heat soak!

There is only one "cold air" intake and thats the AEM/MS. The RB unit is a "ram air" intake.

He said cold air intake not exhaust. The odor of the exhaust changes depending on what fuel is used.

I love my MS CAI. I've gotten many compliments on it. To each their own though, good luck.

There's absolutely no proof of that, only talk. Searching will do nothing except bring up all the arguments that give no evidence.

No plugs for K&N yet. Cold, or "cold," either way I'm satsfied with the gen II.

The K&N gen II seems to get overshadowed by the poor performance of the gen 1. It has good build quality, great looks, sound is strong and aggressive under throttle, but quite when cruising. Its been good for me...

As I have posted in the thread about the intakes and whether you may or may not gain HP from them, I have to say that the RB + ramair duct seem to be the best combo out there. The RB is the only true ram-air intake (MS and AEM are CAIs), and its "almost stock" look makes it the best mod in the RX8's engine bay

HP gains are almost the same for every similar intake (3-5HP, not much more), but the REVi is the only one that can claim that its performance gets better as the speed increases....
