MD Been dreading asking this

Didn't wanna ask you guys this cause I know 98% of you won't answer my question, but ask me questions in return, like "why do you wanna sound like a shitty civic fart can blah blah"

Anyway, I've searched for this on here and google and not a straight answer comes up. So if you can help me, what is the loudest deepest catback you can get? I've watched tons of videos of people that have new downpipes and straight pipe it, but I just want to know what exhaust is the loudest? I want something that you can hear at idle and something that'll wake my neighbors up and you can hear from a mile away. I don't want a crappy 100$ exhaust that beat civics have.

I've heard a a/t with a Borla and a m/t with a greddy and I think the greddy is loud but there's one rx8 that passes my house everyday that you can literally hear a good mile away and when he's going 15 pass my house, it's this loud low pitched rumble that you can almost feel.

So basically is there an exhaust like that? Or does he have other parts? I mean I'll eventually get more parts but I'm trying to get an exhaust and intake on it first. And I want it to be loud and good hp gain.

Thanks for those that'll actually answer me.

Let me stop you there before flame fest usa starts. I understand that you started with looking for a deeper tone, you also mentioned that you just want exhaust and not deal with midpipes. But first and foremost, you want to get the quoted statement out of any talks when dealing with a catback for the 8 and intake for the 8. You should just step back a bit and do some reading ... you are headed in the wrong direction.

Haha, hello Nick, it's Greg.

The 8 that you always hear is mine, passing your house every day when I travel to work at about 2:30 PM down 543. My Greddy SP2 + Agency Power combo is loud, but it isn't the loudest. It is pretty deep, but I do not know whether or not the full agency power is deeper. To be as loud as possible you pretty much have to invest in a midpipe (Agency Power is one of the cheaper, louder ones), or a straight pipe which is always loud loud loud, or even headers (OBX and Racing Beat are the two most popular). I would look into a full Agency Power exhaust, midpipe and all. It is as loud, if not louder than mine and just as deep.

So I take it you're ditching the Forte and getting another 8?

Hahaha Greg! Didn't know you where on here, yea I assume that is you. I've heard you on 24 too, it's loud as anything. I asked you on facebook what greddy you have but I know now, I think I'd go with greddy. Do you like the greddy Greg?

I love it, however before you look into Greddy exhausts, keep this in mind...

The exhaust that I have is the Greddy SP2. It is a discontinued exhaust and it is virtually impossible to find unless you buy it used, which could take forever (Took me 2 months). There is a newer Greddy exhaust called the Greddy SE and I have no idea how it sounds in real life. Not too many people on here have it because it is very expensive and is apparently much quieter than the SP2.

look into Agency Power w/ their midpipe. It's affordable and it's definitely loud

Yea I was just on greddys website and the se's on there, if it's quieter I don't want it, and it's almost 900$. I'll look around for the sp2, what's the agency power?

I have the SE and have heard other 8's with the SP. The SE is definately a tamer exhaust. I actually choose the SE because I didn't want a loud exhaust. The Exoticspeed is pretty loud.

won't pass emissions but that's not a big deal since emissions is every 2 years. It only takes an hour or two to swap it out with a midpipe and vice versa

The cat has quite a muffling effect so no cat = loud .

I think that is what you are asking ?
