WHich mid-pipe is better, the one from B&B or RP, because i know the B&B is $100 cheaper? Is there really a difference between these two products or do they both increase the power output the same?

Can someone plz comment on which mid-pipe is the best (RP, B&B, SR, etc.) or if they all yield the same hp gains? And does anybody know the average whp gained from this application?

i'm installing the rp midpipe this week... but i won't really have any info to compare it with the b&b =T

i cant wait to hear what ur opion is regarding the rp midpipe, cause i know nemisis8 installed the high flow cat from rp n got roughly 8 whp, so this mid-pipe should deliever an even greater number!

But im simply just lookin for the mid-pipe that delievrs the most hp, but nobody seems to know this answer???

I want a mid-pipe, and not a high flow cat b/c the midpipes yield a greater increade in hp even though there illegal. But i am going to be using a restrictor to tone down the volume.

 

what type of restrictor do u plan on using to tone it down? i have heard of people putting additional resonators on. i had to take my b&b midpipe off because it was too loud, especially at low rpm's.

I have a RP SuperCat... I stayed away from the B&B b/c i didn't want to deal with the CEL coming on... and getting a fooler chip and all that nonsense. Basically, i got it b/c i didn't want to deal with problems regarding CEL. It's loud, but i got used to it. It keeps me up when i drive a long distance... haha... But i also have the HKS Racing Suction... so that makes it even louder. It doesn't sound "RICE" at all though. A Deep Mellow sound...

I will have the SR motorsport Aluminum flywheel and counterweight installed this weekend..> whooP whooP!

 

OH ALSO: the SUPER CAT, is i think SMOG legal, and i will pass emissions... so that's another reason i got it!!!

yea i has the resonator on the b&b midpipe. still very loud.

 

Charles Hill has the RP Plain Midpipe

 

i thought the most hp u can get with a midpipe was around 7 hp max??

and i think in california you would never pass a smog test without a cat
