Whats the deadline for this to be made? If we get at least 30, can those of us who initially expressed interest based on price still buy it for $225 within a reasonable time frame?

I am closing on my new place next week, so my cash flow for purchase willl depend on a lot of things in the next couple of weeks as I have to buy furniture and what not. I really want this shifter, but there are a few things that will take priority.

Well as I understand it... RP's willingness to run this deal is because of a large one-time sale/hassle. Everyone pays up at the same time, RP gets all shifters ready to go at the same time and is not running back and forth mailing out the stragglers. The discount is because the managing and bulk selling of the units makes it worth it.
I am not RP, but I am guessing this is a "**** or get off the pot" type of deal.
You do have at least another week or so before they will be ready for payment and shipping.

Also... I see that another $5 off seems to be making others extra exited. I do want to note that like I said earlier... 30+ must pay (1st) that amount for it to be honored. Just cause the list has 30 names does not mean all 30 will pay when called upon. My guess is once RP is ready and able to ship the product it will take another week for everyone to pay-up. We shall see.

I get the feeling that stacking up discounts is sort of like stacking up horsepower gains from bolt-ons.

if you have a PayPal already, it's REALLY easy to add a credit card to that account. You can then use the Paypal to take the money out of your credit card and send it to RP.

If you don't have a paypal account yet, set one up. By the time RP gets into his new shop and makes these in the coming weeks, you can be all ready with your payment...
