What do you mean "How fast it shifts"?
The AT trans has very solid and quick shifting. If you want it to shift faster then shift it sooner.
If your referring to how fast it switches gears after shifting? Then the answer is fast.

It shifts depending on how hard/fast you drive. When you first start it up and drive normal around town it can slightly lag sometimes, when you drive the car hard for a period of time (don't know how long) it should go into a sport mode type of thing where it will shift faster. You can notice this in automatic mode, drive around in auto and see how it acts, then drive it pretty hard in auto and you can see the difference.

Currently there is no way to address the trans electronic control module. I would think that eventually someone will come up with a way but currently there is not a heavy demand for it. As slow as you think it is, it's still faster than a MT.

I've heard someone at Rotary Performance knows something about a shift kit for the AT but I haven't looked into it. Might try giving them a call and see what's up with it.
