i have found that the CEL and the idle issue with the intakes can sometimes be cleared by unhooking the battery for more than 20 minutes, and then going through the computer clearing steps described in one of the threads.
just a suggestion. dont know if it would relate.
it worked for me when i had a seriously bad low idle issue and a CEL. All other things didnt work for me. mine is a 2004 6 speed with the old style K & N. recently went back to the OEM with drop in K&N, car runs much better.
I am looking at the ARC as well, because of price and rep, but this makes me wonder.
