i think its worth it... is it worth every penny? hmmm. depends on you. don't expect a turbo feel to the car. but probably one of the mods you will DEF feel. so to me yes it was worth every penny. and again depends on how good you are with installtions. but i recommend you get it done at a shop.

Also they have a "streetlite" version, that is a bit more drivable. not sure what your commute is like. If you have some stop & go traffic on your daily commute this might be a better alternative.

I was also confuse between buying the Streetlite or Prolite initially. cos theres a number of people saying that the Streetlite is more driveable then the Prolite. and Prolite will be too light and it will affect the top speed of the car.

But In the end I call up www.rx7store.net and spoke to Jason, and he told me to go for the Prolite . cos theres not much of diff and I can learn to control after some time.

Believe me its not difficult to drive with the Prolite, I had driven it from day one struck in Traffic Jams for 1hr and theres nothing any driver can't handle. and I had also driven the car up to 220km/h and no problem with the prolite

SO in conclusion, PROLITE is good

If you're doing it yourself and not taking it to a shop you'll need the correct size socket for the flywheel nut and an air impact wrench strong enough to zip it off. That or a flywheel stopper and the tool racing beat sells that is pretty much a long *** breaker bar with a socket on the end.

Flywheel puller isn't needed. If it's stuck, get a dead blow mallet or a rubber mallet, either, and smack it as hard as you can on each side. It'll be loose and easy to get off after that.

It only bogs if you suck at driving. Sure in the beginning it will take some getting used to... but I daily drove my 2nd gen rx7 with an aluminum flywheel. After getting used to it I would never have chosen anything else, smooth as silk off the line and great feeling. And this was also with a clutch that engaged almost imediately when letting the clutch out.
