Question Any one try SR motorsports parts? intake, exhaust, pulleys? or power packages?

I am wondering if anyone has tried any SR motorsports parts and how they perform? what can a stock rx8 expect to put to the rear wheels on the dyno? www.srmotorsports.com

+1. Most members here haven't had good experience with their parts. Also, most of the performance claims on SR's website are false.

their intake, while nice, is $400.

that is ridiculous.

I have there 9.25lb flywheel and I really like it. Made a huge difference in the car and it's rebuildable so no resurfacing when I change my clutch again.

I have met with the owner 3 or 4 times. He is a good guy. HAven't heard of any problems with quality or reliabilty of their product.

Only one person had an issue with the fly wheel.

Fanman was one of the first to buy and use their parts.

Other than the exaggerated HP claims the product is good.

I also have their underdrive pulleys which are pretty sweet (but expensive!).
I too have their underdrive pulleys. Not worth the money for the performance but got to have a little bling under the hood and before the mazmart waterpump came out, I needed the waterpump underdriven. Has BHR considered making some nice and more affordable pulleys?

You guys need to read this seriously.

http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.ph...t=shane+racing

I wouldn't go near Shane Racing - SR Motorsports with a 1.5 Million foot pole.

Also FWIW, there were plenty of those type of threads and they have silently been deleted since the IB Big brother takeover....
