quick question,dont tell me to search either cus i just looked for 30min. where the hell can i get an agency power resonated midpipe???? i cant find one by itself. if not an agency power then something else that sounds similar that will fit on the stock CBE

 

not sure you can get it by itself. try posting in the for sale forum, there have been instances where people sold thier midpipe because it was very loud when combined with the catback.

 

if you want a mid pipe that's going to be quiet, don't get the ap...it is loud and raspy

I (like others) have removed the AP midpipe and installed the MazSport's dual resonated midpipe because of the sound.
Not only is it loud, but raspy and annoying.
It doesn't generate a nice deep tone like the MazSport midpipe, so you end up sounding like a Civic/ricer.
You'll find yourself turning up the radio all the time and shift up one extra gear through the back roads just to drown the noise.
But on the flip side, the AP midpipe comes with their cat-back so you don't waste any money. Just turn around and sell it!

It's loud x10! You will get sick of it, trust me. Everyone hates it after awhile.

You are turbo'd though, right? That will quiet it down a lot.

My setup is the Agency Power catback and the mazsport dual resonated midpipe and I have a GReddy turbo. It's amazing! Sounds awesome. Low and deep, not too loud, no rasp. Almost sleeper sounding until you are WOT. Even then its not too loud.

 

ohh so that would be bad. cuz i wont have turbo for like another year.

 

i dont agree at all about that with AP. i have there full exhaust on my 8 and i love it. yea it is very loud and everything but no way it sounds like civic at all. if you dont mind it being loud at all then go for it. very easy to install and decent price too

I had it for 5 months and had to offload that midpipe

 

I went roughly one year, then put the cat back on (it was that annoying).
I don't care to attract attention, so if you enjoy "showing off", then you might like it loud.

Hearing the AP midpipe and then the MazSport, I would agree with 05rex8 on the quote about the rasp sounding like a Civic.
Maybe not the tone itself because the sound of a rotary engine with a midpipe is different than a piston engine with a midpipe.
But the annoyance factor is the same as a Civic ricer.

I feel like I know where 05rex8 is coming from because we both had the same setup and now both have the MazSport midpipe.
The MazSport delivers a nice deep growl while the AP sounded like a weed whacker.

i would get the mazsport with the ap exhaust but i wouldnt have another $500 after spending 700 on the exhaust.

you could always sell the ap midpipe for 200 to absorb some of the cost. I sold my used one for that!
