Question AEM intake... water issues?

I have the AEM CAI and a tsunami front bumper... basically the front has a huge opening where the intake is exposed.. is this safe? should i worry about water issues cuz i was washing my car earlier and the water dripping down from the hood was leaking righ ontop of the filter.. im kinda worried any input? thanks

apparently Mazdaspeed doesn't think so since it's the same thing rebadged

as long as you dont drive through a deep puddle you'll be fine, n aem should also offer (iforgotwhatitscalled) a valve that u can install to prevent hydrolocking, at least from my experience with hondas

From what I understand, you would pretty much have to submerge your intake in water for it to actually hydrolock. Also, if you want to install and air bypass valve it pretty much negates any effect that the CAI added to start.
