can anybody tell me were to get the fabric cover that goes over the filter? or does it come with one?

 

there are several universal ones..... i cant seem to find the aem ones..... search google for "pre filter"

 

they don't have one that I'm aware of, at least not since introducing their new "dry-flow" filter

 

don't worry about it frank it should come with one with the intake.

cai doesn't come with dry charger, need to purchase separately. helps to prevent hydrolock.

I'm not, I'm talking about the stupid filter sock thing that comes with the kit. That's what his question sounded like to me at least.

It's a stupid black fabric thing that goes over the filter. I was under the impression it was meant to keep the filter clean, so all you have to do is wash/clean the sock, not the filter itself ever.

 

what I'm looking for is the black sock looking thing. if the kit comes with it that's great. reason that I'm putting it on is because my car is black and I don't like the look of a red, dirty *** filter when you look at the car from the front.
