Learn to appreciate the car for what it is. Pre-rev and stay in low gears until you hit redline, and it'll move fast enough.

I bought a used Passat a few years ago, and spent twice as much as I paid for it trying to turn it from an old sedan into a new sports car. I could've paid for my RX-8 with cash if I'd had that money when I walked into the Mazda dealer.

 

Listen to the lightened flywheel recommendation... That, and a tune. Tune cleans things up, flywheel makes it feel 300 pounds lighter. Put in a new release bearing when you have it out though.

from my experience you cant go from N/A to forced induction on a fuel injected car, always had to tweak air/fuel ratios, timing, spark advance and so on. But if you can plug-n-play im willing to try it

Clearly this is the best way to go. CVT in a supercharger. Increase boost on the fly. DOn't bother even tuning for each boost setting. Your car will grow into it.

This is what your gonna do, open your hood and locate the ecu in the bottom left hand corner of the engine bay. Measure about a 4 inches down and in the center. Take a 5 inch screw and drill it straight through it. Bam your done, you'll go fast now!(insert troll song here) Jk the best things probably would be intake, exhaust, tune, torque damper, weight reduction, and nitrous if you can't afford a turbo... Like me.
