93 rx7 motor and tranny

will a 93 motor with tranny match up into the rx8 in the cabin? or will i have to rip apart my center console so that the tranny will fit in where its supposed to be?

Motor will probably match up to the mounts but the transmission will not.

Holy ****, Bruno? Is that you?

If I recall correctly, the tranny mounts fine but the motor doesn't and a custom length driveshaft needs to be used. I'm not 100% sure though.

13b-rew swap using stock 6MT rx8 transmission. Get that **** back on the road, Bruno.
