I'm a little curious why the post where the person only said "the only other mid pipe I could find was the one Fluid was selling" and all that was deleted, because essentially he's just saying what you can buy out there right now..Wasn't really slanderous or anything wrong.

lol not complaining about mine being deleted. It needed to be, just don't like it when people cause crap like that on a good thread. Just was curious, but good point. Thanks.

Any news about this from anyone? :/
And to answer that guys question (I forget the username)
Yes, only good midpipes right now is
-Preowned Mazmart for sale mid pipe
-Fluid's new midpipe
And upcoming rival of this midpipe is the new BHR midpipe. So not many options now, but some really good ones coming up. Sorta like the Xbox 360 vs Wii vs PS3 battle coming up.

I will email Jim to see the progress. However based on my latest email from Jim, don't expect anything too soon since their lead fabricator was on medical leave. He should just now be getting back to work. Let's be realistic here guys. This will take time. I am sure they will not put their name on the line and produce a crap product.
Thanks,
Jon
Just got some news from Jim Langer at Racing Beat. Things are looking up! (for both the lead fabricator and the midpipe)
Thanks for the quick reply. Gerry's ankle is still pretty tweaked, he can only last until noon until it swells up like a giant sausage. Everything is completely healed back together, but the swelling is the main issue with him. He's trying to get things back up to speed, hopefully he can start on the fabrication of these resonated pipes within the next few days. .
Finally an update!
RX-8 Resonated Catalytic Converter Replacement Pipe*
2004-09 – All Models
Coming Soon - Very Soon!! Initial production has begun!
Now's the time to get in line on our waiting list! Simply fill out an order and send it our way. You will NOT be billed until we have the units completed and you receive a confirming phone call from us. There’s no risk, if you decide you don’t want the pipe, we’ll simply give it to the next guy in line. So what are you waiting for?
By now its well known that a non-resonated catalytic converter pipe on the RX-8 can produce a overwhelmingly loud exhaust, but if you require a modest, quieter exhaust tone, then the Racing Beat resonated pipe is your answer. Designed to provide the ultimate combination of performance AND sound, this pipe is sure to be a hit with RX-8 owners.
Racing Beat offers a full 304-stainless steel catalytic converter replacement pipe with dual resonators for RX-8 racing applications. Fitted with two (2) specially designed resonator units specifically for the RX-8 chassis. Both our resonated and non-resonated pipe versions are a direct bolt-on replacement for the stock catalytic converter section. Our replacement pipes utilize a genuine OEM rear mounting flange for a secure fit to the stock (or an aftermarket) exhaust system. Each replacement pipe is equipped with a sensor fitting for the oxygen sensor. (Note: Placement of the sensor in the pipe will cause the “check engine” light to be illuminated, but performance and engine systems will not be affected.)
Legal in California only for racing vehicles, which may never be used upon a highway.

If you're not in a hurry just wait. I think if you're looking for proven sound reduction, particularly the highway 'drone' reduction associated with some exhausts like the Borla, or you need something relatively soon you'd go with the RB which is based off the Mazsport DR which was the only catless midpipe I've ever read about that could handle the Borla drone. If you're looking for a reduced sound than most (all?) single resonated midpipes and reduced weight from a DR midpipe and have time go with BHR.
I'd rather support the local guys (RB / BHR); also they are the ones that have been advertising their product. If CS doesnt advertise it they obviously dont want us to buy it lol.
