So $100 for the PDX, $50 for the AutoX, and $30 to register for it. So all together it will be $180 correct?

Well, I could do this on Saturday but Sunday is the Rolex at Barber Motorsport Park and I will definitely be going to that.

Is there a schedule of events so I can find if attending on just Saturday will be worth the time/money?

I have run with SCCA a few times in the past and it has always been 2 X 20 minutes sessions.

Are we sure this one is 3 sessions?

Yeah, go to mazdameets.com, they should have the schedule there. I believe there's a Pace run and a car show the cookout. At least that's what went on last year!
It's a fun filled weekend!

Saturday is the car show, vendors, raffles, track laps, cook out, outdoor movie and gaming.
Sunday is the competition side with the PDX and AutoX.

Are instructors needed for the PDX?

You would need to get a hold of Paul with the ATL SCCA to ask.

PDX Registration is open!!

PDX Registration is open!!

After you have registered for Zoom-Fest, Follow this link the the SCCA website. -> http://www.atlantascca.org/

In the middle of the page you will see:
"Register Now for July Double SARRC, Pro-IT and PDX"

First read the rules by clicking on "PDX SUPPS"
Then
Sign up by clicking "REGISTER ONLINE"

1) At the bottom of the page you will see "I am a new user" button to click.
2) Fill in your name, email address and zip then click "continue"
3) Fill in the rest of the required info then click "continue"
4) When asked for SCCA info use this:

Member Number = 007
Membership Expiration = 08/01/09
SCCA Region = 3
Competition License Level = N/A

5) Fill in Make, year and Model and leave the rest blank (unless you really want to fill it in) - Click "continue"
6) Driving experience is not necessary to fill in unless you plan to select the "advanced" group. - Click "continue"
7) Click the check box next to "PDX". It will drop down for you to choose the last option - "PDX (other) - Driving" @ $100

Choose a class in the pull down. Do not choose a class higher than your experience. Rule of thumb is: If you have not ran a PDX in the past you will be group "A". If you have run before and were signed off you are group "B". Make sure to bring your log book from past events in order to not be automatically put in the "A" group.

Read the waiver and then check the box then click "Preview Order"

NOTE: You will need LONG sleeve shirt, LONG sleeve pants and a helmet that meets the rules.

I wish I could go to Zoom Fest... Unfortunately, it looks like I'll be working that weekend..

but if you head to Barbers, please let me know! I'm planning to go by at least couple of hours each day... especially its only 5-10 mins from my house.

Just a reminder that registration for Zoom-Fest will close Sunday morning.

This is to ensure we have everyone accounted for and to give time to print the shirts.

You must pre-register for the event.

Visit www.mazdameets.com to sign up.
