Great pictures John and KB!! Your cars look great. I love the stance on yours john and kb your color really pops in the sun. i also love your license plate. Im going to get a personalized, just dont know what verse i want on it. john said the next was C&C was at red robin at mayfaire which is right near where i work so ill def be able to make it out there. I just opened these up today and got a great workout trying to pry that stupid metal thing outta the clear corners haha. ill install them sometime this week and take some pics. kb do you like yours?

J: I luved the sound of ur car too...I do plan on RB for the exhaust...I'm going for the AEM CAI and see how that sounds put together along with the RB dual resonated midpipe...at some point I will work on other things when the money comes available... I'm out on my own by January, my husband and I are separating and I'll need to save as much money as possible in case Candy's heart decides to need a reman...my warranty is up next year...I got advice to take it to Fl though where the people will actually port it too and add a bit more kick

G: I can't take any credit for the professional photography. I luv my clear side markers and I had no issues popping mine in and out...I don't know what piece that is in your hand as I didn't remove anything but the outer piece. I got them in December and put them I shortly there after.

R: lol-- a bit of grease never hurt anyone. I hope to see her driving her own by April 2014 up to Deals Gap with all of us...if I can chat with Mike Kuhn (TopGear8), maybe we can have him there too...he's slightly familiar with the 8's...haha

KB, yeah, she loves to wrench and she's helped me alot. I like the AEM CAI but I only got it so I could fit the oil filter relocation mounted to the cross bar that the battery and air box sit on.

 

Holy hell....is "TopGear8" Mike Kuhn of Mike Kuhn racing?!

 

That would be him! He lives in Charlotte I believe.

 

I've been watching his videos and had pics of his car on my computer for so long and now I realize I've chatted with the guy. Crazy.

 

Funny huh, damn small world...I can't wait to meet him! His car is so aggressive looking...great combo, those two. And he posted on his FB his video of his AutoX win this past weekend...at ZMax I think. A friend of mine in WS, CDemon215 (Chris) hopefully caught up with him too this weekend.

It's been a minute since I've been on this site. Looks like you guys have been keeping busy, I need to finally make a meet sometime. I've been in Rhode Island for a week and some change and have seen only one 8. After talking to the owner for a few he learned that he needs to top off the oil as needed and that its not a four banger. He had no idea what a rotary was. At first I thought he was joking but sadly not.

 

Haha that's funny. Hopefully he didn't cause any damage by reving to high while the engine was cold or not topping of oil. I imagine there are many people that have no idea what is in their car. That kind of scares me....

 

Yea I know, I wouldn't be surprised if he did. I admit I was a little naive with my first 8 but that guy was way out there.

Went out to Old Maple Hill Rd today with a bunch of friends and had an awesome time. Going to be making a little video of all the footage I took, but here is a screen capture from when i did a small pull past my friend in his turbo veloster. Can you say flames?

 

I would love to make it out there at least once. Hear nothing but great things out there. Nice flame btw, can't wait to get back to my 8.

 

It's a fun road for sure. There is usually no one out there as well.
