As far as for now, Galatians/Redframe may have to split the cost...I dont mind paying the full price if and when the time comes. Currently I am saving for the BHR ignition set and exhaust. Hopefully I can make enough money to look into the other mods.

I actually don't run sidemarkers because of that haha. I am eventaully going to get them filled in a repainted. I going to guess around 2.5 - 3 inches. I really have no idea.

Well usually we sporadically plan meets, but we usually always attend Cars & Coffee which is the first saturday of every month. I understand you are kind of far away, but if you ever make it out here let us know! My schedule isn't to crazy so it's not hard for me to make plans.

The BHR kit is great! Good idea on that. What exhaust where you looking at?

Been doing some research on the BHR kit as well. My car vibrates a lot at idle and i have that "chirping" noise that people complain about. And I heard it gives better gas mileage. Anyone know of a good place to buy it? And yea john i wanna roll my fenders if you are down to help me! KB I have my set of 4 25mm spacers if you wanna buy them from. if not, im gonna return them to the ebay seller and get 15mm and 20mm. John i did some research and found some people running the 15mm spacers.

Well if you end up coming over to our neck of the woods before purchasing everything I can give ya a ride in my 8. I have the AEM CAI and it definitely screams when ya open her up. Nice and subtle with regular driving though.

It a pretty decent turn out. I have seen pictures of the Charlotte one and it isn't as crazy as that, but we usually have quite a bit of cars. We could definitely hit old maple hill road that weekend as well.

Galatians, the vibration may be from the older style motor mounts. They changed design some time in the late 2005 assembly so many 04 and 05 cars have the old style that is known to go bad and cause vibration.

Mine (06) is making what the dealership is calling a resonating sound that they think is coming from the motor mounts. I am pushing 60, 000 currently and the Mazda service guys are scratching their heads to that not being enough mileage for the mounts to be going bad...I read that u can reinforce them with polyurethane, however..its a bitch to deal with..need a press..lots of work involved. Might as well just buy them instead of all that trouble.

I could upload a video but not sure how right now. I am hearing a grinding of some sort that they think might be metal rubbing metal..anything is possible..could be belts as they need to be changed sometime in the near future.

Hey John, are you back in town? I wanna look into that fender roller. Right now the ebay seller has my spacers right now and is claiming that the scratches didnt come from him. So worst case scenario is that im gonna have to order a 20mm spacer or maybe even a 17mm spacer for the front. If anything, i would like the back to come out a little more than the front to give it a mean stance so idk if 20mm would be enough

I am in town actually. Moved in over the weekend and finally got settled in. I am a little confused about your post. Are you saying you want to run 25mm in the back and 20 or 17mm in the front?

We got our suits from mens weahourse! We got the Calvin cline tan linen suits. And John yes I am gonna do 25mm in the back and 15 in the front. If anything, I'd like the fronts to be a little closer in than the backs to give it that staggered look. Plus, I think that the fronts might even poke out a little bit still I did 20mm.

Sounds like a good plan man. It should turn out pretty good. I am going back to Jacksonville this weekend to help my buddy tear apart his rx7 as the motor needs a rebuild. If we can't meet up next weekend, then we should all meet up at the next cars and coffee. I haven't been to a car meet in a quite awhile. It's two weeks away so clear your schedules!

Sounds like you guys have been pretty busy. That's pretty cool about renting that fender roller from ebay, didn't know that. Just got back from a wedding in upstate New York. There were a lot of nice twisty roads up there but the bad part was gas prices. Actually doing 30 mph through Jersey traffic for 2 hours was worse.

I hope everyone had a good labor day. (i.e. no arrests or wrecks) Kinda bummed I won't be able to attend that Episode M event in Florida. It seems like whenever there is an event like that or DGRR, I'm at a course or elsewhere.

Yo guys, been a while. Hope everyone is doing well in Wilmy. I'm back up in Chapel Hill for the semester but I'll be home frequently throughout the year for family stuff and gigs and whatnot. So I replaced the coils on my car about 10k miles ago or so back in the spring, unfortunately i've put a lot of miles on my car recently, been driving back and forth between CH and Wilmy. I was going to check on the coils warranty because I'm pretty sure they've already gone bad, I got these from advance auto. I've already got the chirping noise, that obviously promptly went away when I put the new ones in before. Unfortunately I didn't double check the whole process and change the plugs and wires when I did the coils earlier because I just didn't have the time last semester. With all that said I'm about to order new plugs, wires and hopefully with the new coils I'll have the car running smooth again. It's already started to misfire again after running really really well for the last 6 or so months. I would love to upgrade to the BHR but I'm also planning on getting coilovers/enkeis in the next year so I'm trying to appropriate on the part-time job/student budget. Haha, anyway any advice on checking the warranty on these things? and i've read I should just stick with OEM plugs? Any word on that? trying to order this stuff soon and get it done this week. Btw I'll be home the last weekend in September if ya'll wanna meet up.

Are they BWD coils? If so they come with a lifetime warranty through advance auto. I'll be here for awhile so hit me up anytime you are in town.
