Most places won't mount rubber on wheels bigger than 18. I think there's a specialty wheel and tire shop on Carolina beach road. I have 2 friends with 7s that will be there with me at C&C.

While the engine was out we decided to replace the motor mounts as well as order a new clutch for the car. It'll be back in and ready to drive on Wednesday!

 

Glad to hear. Today's event was fun. Was a big learning experience for me. So used to setting up my evo for turns. Was nice being able to get on the gas earlier coming out of a turn and not having to worry about under steer.

Has anyone been to RotorSports Racing in Kannapolis for their engine rebuilds?

 

Would any of the 8s that are local to Wilmington want to get together to talk cars? I've had mine for almost 3 years and I still haven't had the chance to sit down and talk with another owner or see what mods someone else has done in person.

 

I'm at ft Bragg as well. Velocity red r3, 2/325 air

R2rs that's cool we should see if there is any other Rex owners and start meeting up... there are a few others that said they were at Bragg but that was a while back mighta pcsed already
