hey guys, i had a question for you. as i posted earlier, i recently bought my second rx8. i had someone come on site to perform paintless dent removal, and had some trouble. some of the dings were in tough places that had zero access, which i can vouch for because i watched him work. so he did some "glue pulls". unfortunately for us, there was some prior paint work done on the passenger side rear door (so good you honestly couldnt tell, and i have seen a lot of body work), and it pulled the the paint off to the metal. long story short, i am getting it back tomorrow from getting repaired, but i have been concerned about my clutch bracket as well.
I recall it squeaking upon compression, and although my visual inspection didnt tell me much, i have seen many of these fail and lead to bigger problems. should i remove it, and have additional welds done, or get the reinforcement bracket from Fluid Motorsports? either way, i have zero experience in removing it, but could probably do it. however, i have no welding equipment and dont know to weld anyhow. if anyone here would be willing to help out, i would love to meet you and help where i can, and will definitely buy some beers, etc.

Many very nice cars and you'll even be able to make some dyno pulls yourself for $30. Not to mention you can check out the new 370Z and Dodge Challenger that will be on display and test drive some Subaru's that will be there as well.

Heya guys, new here but this thread caught my eye lol. I have had my 8 since Oct 08 and love every min of it. Im from Wilmington NC and looking for more 8 owners in this area considering 8's are very rare in this area lol.
