I don't know if you have a stock setup but if you remove the air filter box you will see a cross member part of the chassis that is in line with the battery box. You will see 2 grounded contacts. Unplug battery. Remove bolt holding first ground on that crossmember (10mm I think). Grab a file and file the ground lead portion that makes contact with the chassis. Then file the paint of to the bare metal on the hole where the lead makes contact on the crossmember. Do the same for the 2nd ground in line with that one. While u got the battery box off, get a longer piece of vacuum line tubing and replace the overflow tube for the coolant reservoir tank. If u look u see the coolant that overflows falls right on top of your pwr steering connectors. I made mine long enough that the coolant will hit the street and secured it with zip ties. Plug it all back and you should be good. If the PWRs steering light goes away grab a can of clear coat and spray over the ground you just tinkered with to seal and keep rust off. Put ur stuff back together and enjoy your bicep workout at the gym instead of making left and right turns in your Ocho!

 

I have already replace the vacuum tubing about 2 years ago and I put a long one. I did what you said about the ground contacts. It seem to kind of work, the light would come on and off sometimes when I start the car. There most be a bad connection somewhere. I'll keep exploring to find the cause.
