Dave, glad you decided to post. Nice to know someone is out there pointing Rx8 fans in the right direction. There are a few local guys that were at one point very active on this thread but time takes us all on our different paths. The good news is most of us still own the Rx8s and doing well. I will try and get some to post in this thread again. Hopefully we can spark up some good interest in a bbq meet or something similar.

 

Yeah, he said I should join RX-8 club, but I've already been here for a few years.

I can't make any promises about coming to meets... I've been a member of so many car forums over the years that I'm just about over it. But then again, I keep vacillating between selling the car and keeping it so who knows!

Saturday Dawn to 10:00 AM, this particular meet may go beyond the normal time frame as there will be several cars showing up from the Gold Rush Rally. Hopefully I will see some of you guys there.

Yes it's me. Got it started after cleaned plugs and swapped out a coil. Doesn't like to start again while hot.

Where is Dupont Regsitry located maybe I will show up this weekend.

 

Glad you got it started, you're still on the original engine right? With that high of mileage it may just be time for a rebuild.

It is like 2 minutes from my work but 40 minutes from home.

Yup, original engine. Missed extended warranty by 5,000 miles or so.

 

ouch man. replace all ignition coils that may help more.

dawn is literally sun rise. we get there around 6:30/7
