hey guys, i'm flying into Tampa on Sept 23 around 11:30am. Is there anyone that can maybe pick me up from the airport and drive me to a hotel and/or wants to hang out that day? my girlfriend is meeting me down there later in the day and we will be catching a Rays game that night.

 

I might be able to pick you up from the airport that day, I'll let you know.

Don't know what your plans are while you're down here but Saturday 9/24 a few of us are going out to Orlando for a Cars & Cafe event, the RX-8 is the featured car this month there should be about 20 8's there.

Then back in the Tampa Area that night there's a Dyno Day which we may be going to, me and RWD need to get some baseline numbers before our builds .

For others the Dyno event is at Pete Stop Motor Co in Pinellas Park and is only $10 for 2 pulls, the shop uses a DynoJet dyno so numbers should be accurate.

 

i will only be in Tampa on friday night. we're watching the Rays game that night and heading to Gainesville Saturday morning.

It looks like my hotel has an airport shuttle, but check in is not until 3pm. i will have to call during the day and see if i can check in early.

 

Sorry man I just got hired for a side job up in Trinity today and have to work all day Friday, hopefully you can catch the shuttle to your hotel or maybe another local member can help you out.

Also would everyone who is going like to pick a spot to meet near i-75 and i-4

 

Me and Chris are definitely going, I'm pretty sure Glenn is going, but he might be going out there Friday night I have to check with him and I also have to talk to Jose to see if he's coming out there.

Where is there a convenient place to meet up near there?

 

Actually, I have decided to get a place in orlando about 10 miles from the meet, It's $56 with tax for the room. So if anyone wants to go up Friday night and crash there rather than drive on Sat morning that is cool with me.

Looking for a mechanic to fix my 2004 rx8 auto with paddle shifters, no compression on rear rotor, or I'll sell for $3300. 863(797)(3435).

Car is pretty clean titanium metallic grey, black and grey cloth, with 18" verde rims and new tires. All it needs is a rear apex seal. Already started another project, need it outa my yard. I can even deliver it locally. Call me anytime 863(797)(3435), I can text pics! Need it gone now!
