Anyone heading out to the St. Pete Grand Prix next weekend? I'm heading over there with a friend or two for all three days. Don't think I'll have my 8 though. Just wondering if I can expect to run into any fellow 8 owners there.

 

I am planning on going over there, I have tickets not 100% sure if I am going. My dad has a S2000 and is one of the people in the parade lap at the begining of the race, his is the supercharged one with the huge Neuspeed exhaust. I will be bringing my 8.

 

Well, I'll be up there Friday night - I think I might swing by Quaker Steak and Lube before heading back to my friend's place for the night (maybe set up a meet? I'll make a post over in that thread). I might end up bringing my 8 since I have a ton of extra mileage available this month, I'll have to see how this week goes. Our seats are section 2-B, so we should have a nice view of the pit entrance and the front straight. I'll keep an eye out for your dad's car when everything's getting underway. Sounds like a pretty sweet car.

 

Were talking abouit going over there saturday night, I know there are a bunch of events being planned on the S2000 forum and they are a nice bunch of guys and all are welcome. We have a room at the Hilton and hopefully it will be overlooking the track and will be having a pre race refreshments.

His car is pretty cool he has a 02 S2000 Vortec SC, 550 cc injectors, 4:44 gears, Aem management, Tein Suspension, and on and on...... (But my 8 is way faster )

 

Hey guys, I'll be down there on Friday with my 8, Ill be involved in the Festival Of Speed, you guys should get down by Vinoy Park on Friday morning if you want to see some really nice cars, all high end maked will be on display in the park, just down the street from The Vinoy Hilton, see you there. I went for sunday and we parked at the Hilton, I took lots of photos of all the cars will post later. Anyone drive the silver 8 I followed all the way from St Pete to Orlando?
