South Florida performance shops?

What the hell is up with south florida?

I've gone to several shops to get my 8 upgraded but at every place they said they "don't work on it", "it's too new", etc, etc, etc.

are there any performance places down here that wi work on it?

BTW, I live in Coral Springs Florida.

I think you're just running into the problem of owning a rotary. Lots of places aren't comfortable working on them because they don't fully understand how they work.

Yeah that's what I figured. The last guy I went to said I needed to go to a high performance shop. But I don't know of any in South Florida.

Check out Japtrix.com. They are located in Palm Beach County. They have a Greddy turbo installed on their RX8 already and are fine tuning the emanage. They are quite reasonable too. I just went in to get a quote for some work. Hope this helps.

I'll cast another vote for japtrix. I'm good friends with the guys over there. The've done the suspension and brakes on my car. A lot of times I just stop in for the hell of it.

Hey Paradigm where did you get the other stuff done on your car? Was it done locally in the WPB area? Also did you happen to be at the Reef Grill in Jupiter today? Saw a velocity red lowered there.

The suspension, brake rotors, and stainless lines were done at japtrix. They also fixed a fitment issue with the borla cat-back and rotary performance midpipe I have. The flywheel was installed at palm beach mazda while my tranny was being rebuilt. Intake, midpipe, catback, throttle body mod, and brake pads were installed by me.

And no, I wasn't in jupiter yesterday. My girlfriend and I were actually out test driving a bunch of cars. She's bored with her grand-am and has decided on a mazda3. :D

I have an amazing body shop close to Hallandale and 441, it's called "Diamond Automotive", te owner is Jhon, a very nice guy too.

They do the "official mazda body work" for a couple dealers and insurance companies so if any of you need something make sure yo tell me and I'll teke you to them, good prices garanteed if we go together

How much do you think they would charge for a small dent on the front fender?
