FL South Florida Mechanic Needed ASAP!!

I am new to rotary engines and I just purchased an RX-8. I have never owned a rotary but I have been a fan for years. I need a trusted Mechanic in South Florida that works on rotary engines. Please help. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

If you do not have a Mechanic and you know someone that works on Rotary's then I am open to that.

Thanks in advance

depends what you need done, some of us members have the skill to do work on the cars, but for more invasive things you may need to send it somewhere trustworthy and known for their quality work.

I am looking to do some general maintenance. I am trying to research online and I have not really been able to find anything. I found a couple rebuild videos on youtube but I was told that you have to decarb(if that is the correct term) the engine, use oil in your gas, and other things relevant to a rotary engine. If you are local and interested in meeting then I am game for a little information because I want to keep the RX8 as long as possible.

Go through the stickied threads on the forums. The wealth of knowledge in them will be more than enough to teach what you need to know. I don't know what's local for you but I'm in Pines and always willing to meet up.

Their mechanic owns a RX-7 and knows the rotary motor very well.
Good luck!

hmm....maybe, with some donations from the club to help me get some of the parts, i could start making DIY Videos instead for common things instead of DIY threads.

There's a couple members here in south florida that can help you out with that. Or search in the forum for a deflood DIY, there's plenty of those here...
