I'm keeping my S for another year and 1/2 or so, but i've definetly been thinking on getting an 8. SERIOUSLY thinking about it. I'm wondering where you bought your car? I know a couple of Mazda dealerships in the Miami-Dade/Broward area, would appreciate knowing if maybe one is better than the other when it comes to customer service in ALL aspects.
BTW I know it's a while away. Thanks for your info!

Marlin Mazda. 3 cars purchased there. Gunther made a bitch move and played games with me...therefore I will NEVER deal with them again. Still, others on the board seem to have had some pleasant experiences with Gunther..so whatever.
Hope this helps.

Gunther made me drive out to them TWICE for 2 different cars, confirming each time by phone they had the car there, only to feed my bullshit when I got there. Eddie Accardi treated me well and so far have provided me with loaners for the day when the car was in for extended services.

I bought my S from "Beach Honda" which are the same owners of Marlin Mazda.. and they treated me good when I bought the car. I actually visited Marlin Mazda when the RX8's first arrived to check 'em out. I was hooked since then obviously.
Now Eddie Acardi.. i hear there commercials everyday @ work on the radio. I think the main thing is finding someone who doesn't BS me (Because i am a girl) and someone who's got what i want. I always make sure to know exactly what i want and what price i'm willing to pay before i go to the dealer.
Thanks for your help! Keep 'em coming.

I went with all the info found on this forum at the time for pricing and such and came out happy from Accardi. Since it was right at the release date I wasnt expecting much, but I got the dealer fee dropped at least. My salesguy was Tom Krizanic if he's still there (was 2 months ago) and was good to me at least.

Early RX8 Adopter
I bought my previous Mazda (Protege5) from Ocean Mazda. They treated me really well. They have a new facility by International Mall and that is where I have my car serviced.
