Sept. 26th Autox Homestead Miami (CANCELLED)
This will be ER/SCCA's 8th event of the year.
All info can be found at: www.erscc.com
I may need some of you to come out on the 25th to help ( ) set up track. The more of us out there, the better the chance of designing a course that will actually be fun :D

I'mma try my hardest to make it and see you guys on the track, but I MAY be out of town as my friend and I are working on a project ~300hp. SR20 Turbo Silvia that we're building out of Tampa.
Would we have to register if we're only planning to watch & hang out?

whats the decision with this storm coming? I may not be able to make it this weekend if it hits. You think ER would accomodate me and maybe transfer my registration to another event if I can't make this one alex?

Early RX8 Adopter
They should do it. Its a freaking natural disaster. Having said that, I really dont know if they will. Hopefully there will be some high pressure system that will make it go away. Jon, you have to go man! If you dont, I'll just have to take your trophy :D Yuri!!! glad to know you're going bud. I hope we can make it a sweet RX8 meet of sorts, even though I will not have mine

We are going to wait until Saturday morning to make the decision. You can bet if we have a tropical storm warning for Dade or Broward it will be postponed. Anyone who has registered will have their money transferred to the next event (or other event)

I hope they cancel this one. I'm not gonna be able to make the drive down, and if they don't cancel the event then lou will be able to get a big jump on me in points for the BSP championship! :p
I was even going to get an alignment on friday, but I honestly can't spare the fuel. Every station in the county is already out.

***Sunday, September 26th Autocross Cancelled***
As many of you know, we have Hurricane Jeanne looming a few hundred miles
east of the South Florida Coast. There is no clear indication of where
exactly it will hit landfall. We do know that all the current models have
it traveling in the west/north west direction. Even if it misses the
Homestead area we may still be affected by some severe thunder storms from
the feeder bands causing very unfavorable conditions. Strong wind gusts
are a very important factor as many people drive long distances; some even
towing trailers.
At 11:15 am, Equipe Rapide's officers had a meeting and based on the latest
Hurricane Advisory, have decided to cancel this Sunday's autocross at
Homestead. Plans are being made to schedule it to a later date. For those
already registered, you will be rolled over to the next event. Equipe
Rapide would rather people be safe and stay near their homes and families
and prepare for the hurricane. We would not like any accidents to happen
at or traveling to or from the event.
We would like to thank the South Florida autocross community in
understanding the importance of safety. Please check the website for any
updates and we apologize for any inconvenience.
Thank You,
Equipe Rapide Sports Car Club
