Dude didn't you and I have words about this like a month ago? Remember when you posted about a meet just hours in advance then got pissed when no one could make it?
I would have thought you would have gotten the hint but I guess not. Good luck.

I promise to be better about giving ample notice for the next meet in May happening in West Palm Beach... there will be several RX clubs there...

as much as i appreciate you posting it...some of us have jobs that we had to be up @ 6am for...and live 2 hours away from orlando...2+2=not going...oh well

Morgan.. I know that you live in Gainesville.... Now, how far is Vero Beach from Orlando ?

Aseras who happens to be an RX8 owner made the drive... why couldnt the people who live in Orlando like Tiggerlee, Skythe and KyLiquid make it ? Are they all working on Sunday as well ? I havent met The 8th Element as he or she was the one who posted in three different threads.. but regardless of that if you look at the SE RX8 section... the activity on here is sporadic... not as frequent... what happens to people on here.. they just dont get online as much or visit the forum either... I log onto to the forum each day as not to miss out on something... I dont remember seeing Skythe until today Sunday just to give you an example. I did what i could to inform and some of you from Orlando recieved my messages last night Saturday ... you could have just dropped by and taken a peek at least.

Aseras was the only one there to represent the 8's and he Dynoed at 178..
You talk about living two hours away... he showed up .. why couldnt you? He even droven the two + hours trek to Miami last thursday night for out meet at TANGOS PIZZA ..

Here is what he wrote in the 7 forum:

All the FD's seemed to be having trouble tweak ( I think ) with the red FD pull 266 but was having problems, there was a black one that was having a boost problem ( bad turbo? ) dunno if he ran. A NA FC pulled 148.. with a AFR of 18.. he's gonna work on that..

My lil rx8 pulled 178, fighting the damn big brother CPU, even with the 10 seconds DSC off I still light up the ABS system and car was pulling power... AFR was all over the place, with hesitant acceleration. Car also blew off some coolant, it was toasty in there, over 90 F outside. rx8's refuse to be dynoed.

I took lots of pics and videos of as many runs as I could. I'll post them asap. It was great meeting the CFL guys. Had a great time.

OH FOR JOY!! A disagreement! YAY and I'm apart of it. Boy! I'm gonna pull out my e-***** and get to work. I don't normally like to get pulled into irrational disagreements, but you gave me a bit of a woody with this one. k...so here we have it...I can't speak for others, but I can and will speak for myself, seeing that my name has been brought up in this shizzle dizzle....


For starters, I live in Tampa, a minor technical discrepency. Next...beyond my reasons for not making it to the meet, (by the way, I would have ****** loved to see a suped-up 8 for me to use as inspiration) as far as I and other people are concerned you gave **** for a notice and it's in poor taste, rather rude, just ****** ignorant, and ASININE to fault someone for producing what you would consider a negative response.

Do we come to this forum because we love the 8, and have that hot monkey-road sex all night long? Yea, but that does not make us post-******. I only recently started whoring, and I'm sure most people that join this forum, like myself, just lurk around and read, keeping tabs on what's going on. And most of the time when I do get on, I just click on the "new posts" query feature until I've satisfied myself for the night. You know what I found out? I found that nothing new was being posted in the southeast forum for this week.

Oh, and using tertiary threads that have nothing to do SPECIFICALLY about that particular meet is a bullshit attempt to strategically deflect any blame or onus of yourself. You KNOW you fucked up. That's a bitch move. Man up, take responsibility for your ****-up instead of doing the political two-step, otherwise go whipe your puss and come back when you got your **** together.

Let's get into the reasons why I didn't make...oh wait...let's not. It's none of your ******* business! I live my life for me and those I love, not for you. I don't owe you ****. I don't have any allegiance to you nor are you in a position of authority over me. It doesn't matter that I didn't come or tiger or whomever. You didn't give sufficient notice, and if the inactivity of the Southeast section is a slight deterrent....here's an idea, post it in the Lounge or the RX-8 discussion sub-forums, but you didn't. Quit making excuses for doing poor promotions.

Yeah this was short notice, I'd not have known about this meet either If I didn't lurk on the rx7 forum and hadn't crashed the Miami meet and been told about it. I think Preacher's learned his lesson and will give you guys more notice.

Let me add this too, this place was impossible to find ( unless you really know this area of Orlando ) without calling for directions. It would have been very hard for anyone to see that meet and even with the address find it. Between contruction and virtually no signage and it being behind a strip mall. Very hard to do. Swoope, I thought about contacting you by phone since i believe that one of the guys that lives in Clearwater mentioned having had your number but somehow couldnt produce it.. plus they also mentioned that you were recently married and that you may be on your honeymoon.

I will give advance notice for the next meet... we are thinking of having one somewhere central where we could all benefit from being able to attend...

There are two clubs in the Orlando area ( CENFLA RX CLUB, Rotor7even) .. I was told that the FLRX8CLUB is based out of the West Coast in Tampa ? I am not sure but please correct me if I am wrong.. I know that the FLRX8CLUB had a meet a O'Boys on Saturday April 22nd in Orlando... I didnt see that post on that forum til Sunday or I would have asked for permission to attend.

Down here in Miami we have SOFLA RX CLUB & OLD SCHOOL MAZDA CLUB from Key Largo...

Here is the idea... of having one big get together in a central part where we can have the larges gathering of Rotary Clubs together.. I believe that it can be a great turnout... .. Perhaps even have a Softball game between the clubs... or like some othes suggested Bowling Tournament. I prefer Softball... but its just an idea... There was talk about QUIET WATERS PARK or a Park in West Palm Beach

I am quite chill and normally rather diplomatic about most matters. What's interesting about your comments is that while you offer a "no offense" disclaimer you clearly worded it to be offensive and offered it, for what is clearly you chastising me for my response. If you're goal was to be non-offensive, you missed the mark. As far as getting over missing the meet...if you read my reply a little more carefully you'll see that I barely even touched on my disappointment not making it. I take personally offense when someone purposely calls me out over bs, and that's what was the motivation behind my reply.
