Can anyone recommend a dealer in the central North Carolina ...

I recently purchased a 2004 RX-8 and would like to get it checked out; recalls, etc. I live in Sanford, NC ... 40 miles south of Raleigh.

Heya! I'm in Charlotte. I researched the exact same thing, and the answer I found was Montgomery Mazda in Charlotte. They are pretty reputable with a good track record. I've been to a couple of places and they so far have been the best. I know it's a little drive for you, but you'll feel better after you did.

The car seems to run great. Like you say, I would just feel better knowing someone had some confidence in a dealer. Any experience with any of the following?

MILLENNIUM MAZDA (Durham, NC)
CAPITAL MAZDA OF CARY (Cary, NC)
FLOW MAZDA OF FAYETTEVILLE (Fayetteville, NC)

 

Millennium Mazda is real good, bought my wife's 3 there awesome staff...they are also a Mazdaspeed dealer! My personal preference is Brown and Wood Mazda in Greenville,NC. They are the ones who replaced my engine and have always been top notch in my book.

 

Stay clear of Flow Mazda. I bought my 8 from a Flow Dealership (thought not a mazda). It was pure terror... I'll eventually write a post about it - i just don't have the energy to write about it...it drained me.

We can't help with recalls, but if you just want someone to look it over we would be happy to help you with that. But we might be a bit of a drive for you. Our shop is located in Greenville, NC as well. Ditto to the comments about Montgomery Mazda in Charlotte.
