There will be a Raleigh Rotary Drive-In on 9/11 at the Char Grill on Strickland Road in north Raleigh. The Drive-In commences at 6:30 PM, 1830 hrs for the military, current or former.

This morning I watched the Weather Channel's early 3 day forecast for Raleigh and it indicated partly sunny all weekend with highs in the 80s. It will be great Saturday evening for a Rotary Drive-In, what do y'all think about getting together at the Char Grill on Strickland Rd , oh about 6:30 PM?

Nice meeting everyone at the drive in. I was the guy with the silver 8. 92Elite, that Mazdaspeed is sweet. You should post pictures.

Here are the pics I got of this past drive-in. People and Rotaries what a great mix of the complicated and the complex. Again I enjoyed meeting everyone after foolishly postponing the last drive-in, but I learned my lesson, won't happen again. Beautiful night, beautiful people and most important of all beautiful cars:

We also had window shoppers out last night, I think I overheard her say " Oh look at the nice cars Matt, just think when you're ready to drive they'll all be antiques." Nice thought



Hope y'all enjoy them, and before anyone says anything, yeah, I know, I didn't get a good pic of Dale's mazdaspeed 8. I was so excited about the turnout that somehow, I missed that shot. I'll be sure to make up for it next time.

Don't know why I didn't get a solo shot of his car, but I won't miss it next time. Thanks for coming out last Saturday, we'll be there again on 9/11. We'll have to do something appropriate during the drive-in.
