Hey guys... i was jsut wondering if any of you rx8/previous rotary owners out there have ever used thec ompany Pettit Racing, based in West Palm... when i was planning on the 8, a kid i know with a 3rd gen 7 reccomended i go to them. any knowledge about the group? www.pettitracing.com is their address. thanks

They are expensive, they know a lot about rotary, Cam is a good guy. I don't know if they are doing anything with the RX-8 yet. Did tons on the RX-7 before anyone ever was (well here stateside anyway).

 

The're about 15 minutes from my house. I had my rx7's motor rebuilt there. Yes, they are expensive, but if you have the money pettit is definitely the place to go. The've got a few things going for the RX8.

 

Every 3 rotor 7 I have seen that wasnt done by the owner was done at Petit. Very good rep everywhere I haev seen.

 

Petit is doing work on the rx8. I think I remember hearing about a SC system.

 

That's one of the things they have going right now. It should be finished up any day now.

I was there last week. They had a bunch of FDs and 1 RX-8 on the lift. They do great work and are very knowlegeable about rotarys, and racing them.
